18-hole Championship Golf Course designed by Perry Maxwell in 1935 and renovated by Keith Foster in 1999. West Nine Golf Course designed by Ben Crenshaw in 1992.

This is a shotmaker's course with no straightaway fairways. Hole #18 is considered one of the toughest holes on the PGA tour. The West Nine Course is wide open and easier to score well on. The greens on all these courses are full of subtle breaks. The terrain is rolling, and creeks and ponds come into play on many holes.

This championship course hosted the PGA Tour's PGA Championship in 1994. This club hosted the 1958 and 1977 U.S. Opens. Southern Hills was also selected to host the 89th PGA Championship in 2007.
