This privately-owned country club, located on the east edge of the city, offers a nine-hole semi-private golf course, swimming pool and clubhouse with dining facilities available to its members and guests. The pool is also used for Red Cross swim lessons, which are available to the public.
The golf course is peaceful and picturesque. The greens are fast and the fairways are narrow. If you just want to play and have fun this is the course for you. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an advanced player, players of all skill levels can be found at this 9-hole course.
Not enough can be said for the staff and members at 3/30. They are courteous, very friendly and very welcoming to visitors.
This is an awesome course for the novice player, such as me. Very laid back atmosphere. If you just want to go out and play and have fun this is the course for you. More advanced players are more than willing to help you out if you need it. The staff, as well as other golfers, is very welcoming and friendly. (8/5/05)
